 Momodani is well known as the streets of 'Gojukkenn-suji' , where the soldiers of a gun troop lived in Edo era. The concept here is a space filled with humane feelings, so that people in the neighbor can use the space at ease.
 Burnt Japanese cedar and plaster are used for walls. In order to connect an inner space with outer one, a dynamic two-story hall at the basement and the first floor are placed, and faced to the courtyard.
